PathLab Support is a recognised international agent for UK NEQAS digital morphology CPD scheme in Nigeria. Digital morphology scheme is a web-based, educational programme designed for a wide range of laboratory haematology staff to improve and maintain their peripheral blood and bone marrow morphology skills.

This scheme is suitable for career healthcare scientists and trainees in haematology. It can be used to teach or train students on blood cells identification. It is accredited for Continuing Professional Development by the Institute of Biomedical Science UK for 2 CPD points per case study and also by Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria for 3 CPD points per case study.

Participants will examine peripheral blood film or bone marrow slides using a virtual microscope, selecting the most significant features and suggesting a possible diagnosis. Results are submitted on-line and they will receive feedback for reflective learning.

Registration fees is N7,500 per license per year and you will

  • Have access to 6 different survey cases per year
  • Be able to review and have reflective learning on the blood film images after receiving feedback
  • Receive CPD certificate(s) with credits after each survey

Also, by participating you are supporting children in sickle cell crisis as any net proceeds go towards their healthcare cost.
